High grade severe dyskaryosis outcome

Hello!

Following the routine smear test in December '20 I've been told I am HPV positive and got low grade dyskaryosis, I then been sent for a colposcopy where doctor said everything looked fine, no biopsies been taken at that point and I been advised to return for another test within 12 months.

I've had a smear test last month, followed by a visit to gynecologist who said it looked fine and healthy. My test results came back a few days ago saying it's not high grade severe dyskaryosis and it requires a treatment. I'm deeply shocked and upset how did it progress that fast in a matter of 12 months

Has anyone had a similar experience?

Many thanks!
