Small lump inside vagina wall by opening

I'm very worried. For several months after intercourse. After intercourse it's felt uncomfortable like a dry spot or irritated right on the opening skin of my vagina on left side. After examining properly today I've found that skin is soft and bit swollen but as I push deeper I found a small lump in side wall of vagina opening basically.

can anyone help? I am very worried. I'm 39 with young kids so just know I've got to wait weeks until get seen. Xx

Hi! Obviously best thing to do is get it checked by GP. I had a bartolin cyst in the same place. The glands can be damaged and can cause cysts. Here's a link www.nhs.uk/.../

Sounds like a bartolins cyst i had thst done you can get it if your gland is blocked not releasing the lubrication its a small op to open the gland in the mean time take hot bread soda baths 3 times a day and that might work for you

Thank you I dope it is this. Was the skin on your wall around it slightly swollen (soft) than the other side?
Just so scary when you find these things.

Yes in the past I have felt very dry when having intercourse and just assumed it was because of maybe pre-menopause and discomfort afterwards was from this being dry.

I e never felt the lump before I had to really press in the wall and when I did it was uncomfortable same pain I get from it after intercourse. The wall skin around it is slight swollen so I just assumed this was from friction being dry until found the lump. It's pea size. Was yours the same?
