WORRIED - HPV & Low Grade Dyskaryosis

Hi I have just received my first smear test results and I am very worried it is HPV Positive and low grade dyskaryosis was found in a little confused to what this all means, unsure about what will happen next and if I will be ok?

also is this a sexual transmitted disease should I tell my partner I feel a little ashamed?

    You are fine my love. I work for nhs and read these all the time. I had severe changes in my cervix. Low grade is just little changes nothing scary, they will give you a smear every 6 months and if it changes anymore they will remove the cells changing on the cervix and then it's gone. It's not cancer so please don't worry.
