Hi Caroline1970, sorry to hear you have found a lump. I have a lump in my left breast around the same area. Mine actually started as a hard area in the breast like when I have had a blocked duct when I was breastfeeding (over 2 years ago) and is now a lump. It started hard and is softer now, so it's very strange! I saw the GP and as I had a slightly raised temperature she prescribed antibiotics in case of mastitis but it is still there. I have now been referred to the breast clinic for 31st January. My GP said it felt like a cyst or a fibroadenoma but I'm still worried sick! She doesn't seem to think it's anything sinister but I have since had pain in another area of my breast and found a smaller lump as well so that is a worry. There are some really helpful ladies on here that will hopefully put your mind at ease and I hope you get good news at the clinic on the 24th x

Hello MrsRL, thank you for your reply,. My GP was unable to comment really which didn't help. I'm hoping it's a cyst and hopefully yours is too. I'm nearly 52 so at the other end of the scale and knocking on menopauses door! I breastfed all my children which does give you some protection against breast cancer so fingers crossed for us both. Good luck on the 31st, keeping everything crossed for a positive outcome for you. Xx 

I really hope it's cysts as well! I'm trying to stay as positive as I can but feeling anxious about the whole thing! I'm trying to stay away from Google as well as it has made me worse! Here's hoping we both get a positive outcome. I will update on here when I know x
