Growths around Clitoris, doctors aren't doing anything, help

I'm 25 years old and since I was 17 I have had a lump right at the top of my clitoris, around the border. Over the years it has increased in size and is becoming quite painful and sore. Over the last year, since having covid twice, I have noticed more smaller growths around the rim of the clitoris (which are not as big) and another lump which is getting slightly bigger. They are pink coloured/flesh coloured and hard, when I try to squeeze them or pick them, nothing really comes out as they are hard and it's only the skin which gets pinched. They are now starting to grow into the actual clitoris, as they are around the rim of it at the top.

i have been to numerous doctors and gum clinics who at first said they were genital warts, but last year I got told that genital warts wouldn't last for more than 2 years. I am so worried because they are growling and getting more sore and the doctors don't seem to want to do anything about them as they seem like "normal fleshy lumps" - but they are beginning to cause me discomfort. I've tried looking online and cannot find anything similar, apart from cancer or clitoral tumours..

Please let me know if you've had something similar.

  • Hello Jazz2021

I'm sorry to hear that you're dealing with an ongoing health concern and that these lumps are beginning to cause you some discomfort.

It's understandable that you're feeling worried and often searching the internet for information can leave people more anxious.

As you've mentioned that these lumps are growing and that they are now causing discomfort do go back to your GP. If these growths are genital warts as first thought, then your GP can help with appropriate treatment or referral.

I do hope that you get some answers and that things improve for you soon.

    Best wishes,
