Hello all,

This is my first post and I wondered if anyone had experienced the same.

I've been on Microgynon for over 2 years now, and for the past 5 days I've been experiencing spotting. Not enough to need tampons etc, but always there when I wipe. 

I've spoken to the doctor who isn't hugely concerned but said to wait until after my 7 day pill free break and if I'm still bleeding, to get back in touch. 

I've had some mild feelings of fullness accompanying the bleeding, but nothing painful.

I did have an abnormal smear with borderline changes about 18 months ago, had a colposcopy and they said it was fine and I could go back to 3 yearly smears. 

Has anyone else had an experience like this who can tell me what their outcome was? Obviously worried!
