First ENT Appointment

I posted a while back as I had a CT scan after finding a lump on my left collar bone. The scan found that I had swollen lymph nodes on the left of my neck, axillary nodes, coeliac nodes and mesenteric nodes. The report said that I should be reviewed by a haematologist. I got an appointment to see a haematologist at the end of May, which feels like a really long time to wait. Then today I got an appointment come through to see an ENT next month. I didn't know I was being referred to an ENT. What can I expect at this first appointment? I'm really worried, but also relieved to be seeing someone before May.

  • Hi CharUnder,

Many of our members have had ENT appointments so hopefully some of them will pick up on your post and let you know about their experiences soon but if you'd like to ask one of our cancer nurses about this then you're very welcome to give them a call on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. They're very friendly and will do all they can to give you the information you're seeking.

Wishing you all the best for next month and for your haematology appointment in May.

    Kind regards,

    Steph, Cancer Chat Moderator
