I am just looking to see if anyone could offer some advice. I had a doctors appointment today due to some bleeding after sex. I am only 24 years old. The doctor gave me an examination and she said she could see a red spot on one side of my cervix and a large amount of discharge. She took some normal swabs and decided to do a smear test as well. She said there is a chance they might not accept my smear test as I am not 25 until February. Upon taking the smear test I bled quite a lot, the doctor said this was a lot more than normal and she was worried. She has said due to my age this could be something serious or it could just be hormonal but she is going to do an urgent referral. My mum passed away from cervical cancer when she was only 40. I have two little girls and I feel broken.
