Following my smear on the 01/10/21 and then biopsy on 08/11/2021 because I have had Hpv detected 3 years runnin, today I finallh received a letter today saying 
“Following a cervical screening test reported as HR HPV Cyto neg x3 on 01/10/2021 the biopsy that was performed Following a cervical screening test reported as HR HPV Cyto neg x3 on 01/10/2021 the biopsy that was performed only sampled one cell type. We would like to see you back in 3 months to ensure we biopsy both cell types.
It is important we wait for 3 months so that your cervix heals between biopsies. only sampled one cell type. We would like to see you back in 3 months to ensure we biopsy both cell types. It is important we wait for 3 months so that your cervix heals between biopsies.”

I have an appointment for 21/02/2022 for the next biopsy. I’m so confused as to why and if this letter is an error, the hospital or my GP can’t give me any answers. I’ve received no results after a 2+ month wait for results to get another biopsy appointment. Does that letter say it’s not high risk hpv but if so why am I going back for another biopsy? I don't understand why the letter is referencing my smear date. Any help much appreciated
