I've had an ache in my armpit for some weeks but didn't think too much of it until I started to get some.pain from there down my left breast.

A few days ago while showering I noticed a red patch on the left breast that's purple in the centre, maybe 2cm wide. I also notice my breast has increased in size compared to the right. It currently isn't hard but the patch feels odd to the touch

Of course I googled, big mistake. The only answer i come up with is inflammatory breast cancer. Literally no other options seem to come up. I'm of course now terrified. I have a GP appointment booked for tomorrow to see about it but I'm in a state.of panic. I'm 37 with a 4 year old and filled with dread

As its a rare cancer type there is little experience with it online, and very few positive stories. I lost my own mum to breast cancer many years ago and I'm so scared I could have the same fate

Just wanted to vent really, has anyone else had a similar experience?
