My mum had an endoscopy 2 weeks ago almost and doctor doing endoscopy said there was a tumour and it was likely cancerous biopsy's was taken there & then. Tuesday she had a ct scan the same day she was rushed back to hospital as they'd found a large blood clot in her chest. When she was seen to in a&e we was not expecting them to tell us that the biopsy's were confirmed as cancer and it has spread it was now touching her liver. The morning after the doctor told her it's advanced cancer and it's spread to her liver. Mum has been discharged from hospital this evening and we've just read her discharge papers and it says palliative chemotherapy what does this mean? Are we going to loose her? She's only 58 we've just lost our dad suddenly and unexpectedly on Boxing Day last year we've just had his 1 year anniversary. This is to much to bare I am petrified
