Hello, I was wondering if someone could help put my mind at ease.

Firstly I feel bad for the people actually suffering from this awful disease and feel a bit cheeky even posting here as I haven't been diagnosed with anything, so apologies in advance

Basically I had covid Dec 2020 and had my smear Feb 2021. Nurse said during smear cervix looked healthy but very inflamed.

This sent my mind into overdrive having always been a worrier especially when it comes to health issues. 

So anyway, cervix was smooth apparently no bumps and didn't bleed after smear. Got the results which showed hpv positive but no abnormal cells and to test again in a year. I have booked for this Tuesday 13th Jan..

What is worrying me is since my smear last year I've had this constant feeling that My cervix was burning, almost like a sun burn feeling. I have had a laparoscopy done due to suspected endometriosis but I didn't have that luckily, instead I had bowel adhesions. 

This burning is there every single day. I had 2 lots of antibiotics just incase it was any STI related issues going on and that didn't help. Also had swabs for Chlamydia etc and all negative. I've taken pro biotics to try and get that to help but no joy, also tried thrush and BV treatment just incase it was that but no avail. 

Now I'm starting to get really worried. As we speak I am burning so bad I don't know what on earth this is. My doctor said covid could have caused the HPV to become active as it lays dormant. My periods are light-ish last a few days but I get the brown discharge for atleast a week after the period finishes. Stomach feels sore and bloated like I need a wee but don't

Just so scared about going for the smear Tuesday. Can anyone relate to this burny cervix feeling driving me mad. 

No bleeding after sex which is promising but can't help thinking I'm doomed.
