His night sweats are really bad. Bed is soaked every morning. As I didn't know about this problem I was moaning that his was changing his bed everyday and I couldn't keep on top of the washing. I feel very bad for stressing on him now as I didn't know! Mum guilt lol

we put his other symptoms down to having covid in July. He gets tired easily and has trouble sleeping. He is also short of breath at times and GP said it's all covid related at the time. So now it turns out it might not have been covid at all. So maybe the whole picture has prompted them to investigate quickly as these have been going on since July. So then finding a lump is worrying. 
 

I know some doctors work in different ways but they should all be on the same page. Sometimes you just need to push and push for investigations. Totally wrong that we need to do this but keep pushing and you will get it all sorted out.

I've had a few in my neck for around 2 years that have never gone down.  If you are worried ask for an ultrasound on them:)

Thanks for this. I think ill keep pushing for the ultrasound like many have suggested. Do you know why yours havent gone down?

The consultant just said to me that they can swell and never go down. He said anything under 10mm is normal , as long as they're small and not very larger and growing you should be ok. Still try to get the ultrasound tho as I'm not a doctor

Hi everyone who's following this post. I just wanted to post an update as I've seen so many threads without a conclusion so hopefully that can put some people at ease.

After months of fighting for a scan today I had one which the doctor said there was nothing to worry about!! The lymph nodes in my neck are still enlarged from September (not huge or changed in size) but he said sometimes they just react to an infection and never go down or take years to go down.

I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Thank you to everyone who replied to me on here and I hope everyone is doing well and healthy. Ill continue to check this thread in the future. Thank you <3
