    Hi SJMM,

A very warm welcome to our forum.

It is more usual to get your results within 1-2 weeks, but there is a delay in some areas due to Covid. The holidays may have also put the waiting time back by another week or two. When you are referred to the breast clinic, the consultant there takes over your care. He will usually write to your GP to inform him/her of the results.

Unfortunately, the length of time you have to wait to get these, doesn't bear any significance in respect of the outcome.

I do hope that all turns out well for you. Please keep in touch and let us know how you get on. We are always here for you.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx
