Hysteroscopy and endometrial biopsy

Hello,

I'm sat at work and I really need to vent and Jist ask for advice. I'm a nurse on the night shift) so yesterday I had a hysteroscopy and endometrial biopsy (after I've had ablation last year) due to me having a raised CA125 of 101 in Nov this year.. so biopsy taken and awaiting results. I have ti have a repeat CA125 on the 6th January and then discuss what they think is going on. I have fibroids so they think that the raised bloods are due to this and adenomyosis (which I didn't know I had). But I have now found out of my new bloods are raised then I'm for a ct scan to see if I may have primary peritoneal disease... which I'm now terrified.. has anyone ever been through anything similar ? Any advice much appreciated xx

  • Hi Simoney,

I hope writing everything down has helped clear your mind and you're now feeling a bit calmer since making this post.

I'm sorry you haven't heard back from anyone just yet but my reply will let our members see your post again and hopefully you'll hear back from those who have been in a similar situation soon.

Waiting for tests and results is always a challenging time but I hope the tips and advice given in this article will steady your nerves until you find out more.

Wishing you all the best for next week and with your CT scan. We'll have our fingers crossed that everything will be o.k.

    Kind regards,
