I've had bowel problems for the last 6 months or so. Literally all the symptoms of bowel cancer which I didn't know till I had an appointment with my doctor. Now in a few days I'm going for a a Gastroscopy/& colonoscopy around 2 weeks after doctors appointment. I stupidly went online and looked up bowel cancer. Now I'm scared to death. It says online that a high percentage of people are diagnosed with it from screening. So I now have it in my head that because I have all the symptoms that I have it & because I have all the symptoms that it's to late & they won't be able to do anything. So I just was really looking for some reassurance that this is not the case but only if that is the case please. I just want to know if I'm right or not. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Also since I went to my doctors my brain has turned into fog. I went to the doctors gave my symptoms and in around 2 weeks as stated above I'm going in for the .a Gastroscopy/& colonoscopy I'm 50 years old & now convinced it is. I'm trying not to put this on my children & keep it from my granddaughter's especially since it's Christmas & new year. I hate the fact I went before Christmas & put this on my children. My daughter was with me at the doctors so she knows that the doctor said it could be cancer so couldn't keep it from my other 2 children. For some reason I looked at the date today & thought my appointment is in a few days on the 5th and I've just gone into a total panic & convinced myself I have it. Sorry for the wittering on x thank you for taking the time to read this.
