Just wanted to let you know I'm thinking of you. I have exactly the same and have lumps and pain too. The past few weeks have been hell. One minute crying and the next minute feeling so sick and searching on Google. I am going to a clinic tomorrow. Try listening to some audio books or going for a walk. Anything to help momentarily xx

I have hun. I went to the doctors middle of December and my app with the nhs is the 12th of Jan . I managed two weeks and then yesterday enquired about private and booked it. I couldn't keep waiting. I'm the same with the money, I'm just going to budget a bit better for a bit.

Before Christmas I had severe breast pain and my doctor gave me naproxen for pain, thinking I had pulled a muscle, she said I wouldn't be seen by a breast clinic for 6 weeks.  The tablets made me sick and the pain got worse.   Over Christmas the pain become constant and can't sleep very well.  I've gone private as I couldn't wait 6 weeks and even the 2 week referral is 3 week wait.

I've got an appointment on the 6th.  Hope you get an appointment quicker.  Good luck

Good look Kernow, I've been suffering with pain too. It's awful isn't it? Wondering all the time is horrific too. Sending you lots of positivity xxx 

Good luck for tomorrow, at least you will have some answers.  Your mind goes into overdrive.  My husband mentioned next Christmas and I thought what if I wasn't here.   My children, how would I tell my mum, who's just lost her brother to cancer.  Its constantly there.

You will have to get a referral from your doctor.  but in the meantime you can look at consultants in your area to get a name and you can book an appointment with one.  I had to ring 3 before I got one for next week.  The doctor will send the letter to the consultant.  This is the quickest way to do it.  I went through Bupa website to find one.

Hello Kernow, how kind of you to remember. I had some fatty tissue and also they found quite a few cysts. I made myself so poorly this last week with worry I am trying really hard to de stress. I still have my nhs app booked for the 12th and last night felt like I would still go to just double check  but don't want to get overly obsessed if that makes sense.

That's good news.  I would want a second opinion if i had the opportunity, that's just me.  But I think they have given you the answers you need and the best outcome
