Since May i have had a dull pain in my abdomen and back, i work hard, no time to get it checked, not enough pain either to warrant a doctor visit in these unprecedented times. In September i get covid, i get antibiotics and all pain goes. In November i end up in hospital with burning abdo and back pains...The hospital recommends the H PYLORI test, it came back negative. My doctor calls me in as he has no hospital notes and we have a chat. he asks me if i ever have had blood in my stool and i tell him he knows i have, i have spoken to him about this before. 18 months ago i lost about 200mls of bright red blood in the loo and i often see bright red blood on my stools, he had said previous bright red blood was ok as could be piles or a tare. He gave me a digital exam and from then i have been on a ww2 colorectal surgery appointment, went today to be told i am on a ww2 ct scan and colonoscopy appointment. as well as the blood i have considerable pain in my back, ribs, and hip, My mum and Auntie both passed from bowel cancer so now this is being treated as urgent. My pains are very worrying, twice now i have been told that this is probably symptomatic of what is going on... Love to you all xx
