Advice please

I recently went to my doctors, as i had these little black spots on my nipple right in the corner, since this they have spread outwards. They are only tiny but iv never had them before so been thinking the worse. Since the appointment mid December, Iv been having pains in that breast and also iv been extremely tired, ( I get like 8 hours a night) iv also been having night sweats. This is all new to me & really confusing. I dont know if to go back to the doctors as i feel like a burden they told me to wait a month but something doesnt feel right and the symptoms are getting worse. Im unsure what the next steps would be and wondered if anyone had anything similar. Thanks so much Xx

    Hi Izzylu,

    What did your doctor say when you saw her/him? You know your own body best, so if you feel that things are getting worse go back again.

    Hi she said she highly doubt it would be cancer cause of my age but to keep a eye on things for a month. Im going to phone back tommorow and ask for a referal. Its the pain in breast and the night sweats that are strange as dont really have anything like this. I know something isnt right, she also said it could be due to hormones but unlikely as im not pregnant.

    Hi Izzylu,

    I am not a doctor, but I understand that breast pain seldom accompanies breast cancer. It is also the case that the younger you are, the less likely it is that you will get bad news. You don't have to be pregnant to have hormonal changes. Many people get hormonal changes due to the way that our bodies cope with our monthly cycles. 

    Due to all of these factors, younger people sometimes have to push to get heard.
