Lymph nodes

I have had a small lynphode on the back of my neck since primary school which had been checked.

In the past year I have had another 2 on my neck appear, they both feel smaller than 0.5cm short axis diameter. However, one of them doesn't get any smaller and I'm convinced that it is slowly growing.

I am 20year old very slim female currently having CBT therapy for health anxiety, and have had lumps checked by 4 different doctors who all said not to worry. The tests have only consisted of blood tests so should I go back and push for an ultrasound?

I'm sorry to hear that despite having seen multiple Dr's and given reassurance by them all that you're still feeling worried about these lymph nodes. I'm sure that living with this constant underlying anxiety is difficult.

It's good to know that you're already having CBT to help you develop some coping techniques.  Hopefully, as time goes on these will help you better manage your anxieties. I think that it's probably a good idea to discuss your concerns with your therapist in the first instance and you can make a decision bout how you'd like to proceed from there. You may also like to have a look at this information on the NHS website.

I do hope things improve for you soon.

    Best wishes,
