Possibly colon cancer symptoms. Colonoscopy soon.

Has anyone had a colonoscopy for consistent flat stools that turned out to be something other then cancer? I have a colonoscopy coming up soon, I had a positive FIT test but I'm sure I have internal piles. My bloods came back good. I had 2 calprotecin tests the first was positive and the second was negative, I believe the first was positive due to me taking nsaids the days coming up to the first test. My stools are not pencil thin but I would say they are thinner then average. They are probably flat 5 days out of 7.

Thanks everyone and Merry Christmas.

you will know yourself that any constriction, either in the form of a growth or inflammation will narrow the bowel and lead to flatter stools,Whilst a tumour is one, there are a multtude of others that could be the cause,A colonoscopy is the gold standard for a more precise diagnosis against being a tumour, and a gateway towards a definitive diagnosis.Hope this goes well for you and in the time you have before this, keep your stress levels moderated remembering this is the only current thing you can affect,
