Hello everyone, And a Merry Christmas to you !!
I should be asleep, awaiting the inevitable early start from the children. Instead I'm awake worrying.
I had my breast biopsy taken on Tues 21st and I've received a letter arranging for a telephone consultation regarding the results in the New Year. At first I was thrilled, I presumed they wouldn't give bad results over the phone and I took it as great news, but now the worrying is kicking in again.
The letter was dated the 22nd, Surely they wouldn't have the results that quickly ? 24hrs for biopsy results and a return letter seems too fast ? So I'm wondering if this apt has been arranged prior to them knowing the result ? Would they give bad news over the phone ? I realise the Covid situation is straining the service and reducing contact is of huge importance so again, my mind wanders.
And finally, for my initial apt I saw the consultants fellow, this time I'm due to speak with the consultant, this also has me nervous.
I'm not sure there's anything I'm seeking here, I think just writing and sharing my worries helps. But any shared experience of this would be hugely appreciated.
Love and best wishes to each of you xx
