Hey I had a biopsy 2 weeks ago, was told last week that the biopsy was sent for a histology test and would take 2-3 weeks. I still haven't heard anything and with it being Christmas Eve I'm pretty certain it will be the new year before I hear. Is it a good or bad thing to firsts need this test done and having to wait on results or is this all normal? 
 

any advice or past experience would be greatly appreciated.
