Worried I have uterine cancer

Hi, I'm currently waiting on a hysteroscopy following post menopausal bleeding.  A scan showed my uterus has thickened and was 10mm instead of 4mm.  My consultant told my to stop HRT which I did immediately.  Since my appointment last week I have started to bleed again and have period like pains in my back and abdomen. I was hoping it would be fibroids but the back pain is really worrying me.

    I'm sorry about what was found on your scan but hopefully you won't have to wait too long for your hysteroscopy and for the results to come through.

    Waiting for tests and results is always tough, especially when you are still contending with symptoms, but many of our members have been in this position so will understand how you're feeling at the moment and will hopefully be along soon to offer you their support and advice.

    I hope the tips and advice give in this article will help as well.
