I noticed I had what looked like bumpy crater like dents on side of tongue my dentist had a look and said I had bitten my tongue is he right or do I have tongue cancer I am also a smoker.
Welcome to the forum Liz although I'm sorry for the reason you're joining us.
It's good to see you got these looked at by your dentist and they've given you reassuring news but if the dents haven't gone away or have got worse then do be sure to get this checked out again as the dentist (or possibly your GP) are the only ones who will be able to let you know if this is any cause for concern.
Hopefully that won't be the case but it's always good to follow up, if only for peace of mind.
