I've been reading through lots of chats on Cancer Research and inevitably scaring the life out of myself...
I'm 30 and a week or so ago started feeling a pain in the left, outside part of my breast. I've already been to the doctors, as I'm a worrier. There was the doctor and a student doctor who both had a thorough feel around and said it felt fine and could be muscular - I often have "trapped nerves" where for a short period of time it hurts to breathe in too much.
They said it could be a pulled muscle, especially as the pain was in quite a specific place. I only have small boobs so there's no much to feel around! I don't always feel it, but it's worse without a bra on, weirdly, and is very painful if I lie on it at night.
I've had a similar pain before, and it did go, but now I'm panicking about IBC...I don't have swelling, redness or anything else, but it's playing on my mind constantly.
I've contacted a private hospital nearby to book an appointment with an oncologist, it may seem overkill but feel like it will hopefully help put my mind at rest.
Sorry for the slightly odd ramble, just hate feeling like this :(
