I don’t know what to do

Yesterday I found a lump on my rib on the flesh under my armpit and near my breast and it has been uncomfortable, it's slightly movable but seems attached to something and the area around it is aching. I'm 17 and normally suffer from chest infections anyway so I'm worried. My mum doesn't think it's much but it's stopping me from being comfortable

    I'm sorry to hear that you've recently discovered a lump. It's understandable that you're feeling anxious about this and I'm glad to hear that you've already spoken with your Mum. 

    It's a good idea to keep an eye on this lump and see if/how it changes over the next few days. If it's still giving your discomfort and cause for concern then do think about getting in touch with your GP who will be best placed to support you with this. 

    Hopefully, things will settle for you soon.
