How long are Skin biopsy results taking in Central Scotland?

Hi everyone  just wondering how long biopsies  are taking just now I am a worrier and trying hard not to upset husband ,,He had a skin biopsy done four weeks ago and they said 4 weeks to 5 .I phoned today and they said results weren't  back in yet .I am central scotland and just would love the results sooner than later.the nurse at biopsy did say it looked like a solar lentigine but they had to check not melanoma and now my head is working overtime as it is taking longer thanks husband is calm I am the one needing knocked out lol

    I'm sorry to hear that you're still waiting for your biopsy results. We know that this can be a really difficult time for many people and it's understandable that you're feeling anxious. 

    Unfortunately, things seem to be taking longer all across the UK at the moment but hopefully, you won't have to wait too much longer to hear some news.

    Thank you ,results in now 5 weeks but letter not sent out yet and clinician not in til tom so it looks as if it is in post after Christmas. She did say if I phoned back tom afternoon clinician may be able to give me the results It is now today and when I phoned back the receptionist said  that clinician wasn't back yet but there was a protocol  they had to follow  letter appointment etc which has just put my stress  levels thru the roof and wish now she hadn said that she may give me results over phone
