Recalled after MRI

I have a BRCA1 gene and have annual mri and mammogram.

Last week I received my mammogram results to say there were no signs of cancer but 2 days later I received a letter following my mri to say I need to go back in tomorrow for further tests. I called the breast nurse and she said there is an indefinite area in my left breast. I am absolutely terrified.

Has anyone else had this and received good news?

    Hi Jenn

    Thank you for your reply. Thankfully they couldn't find anything of concern. I have to go for another mri in 4 months to be ultra safe but she said there was nothing she could see that would require biopsy. She said I have difficult breasts for mri! ‍♀️
