Hi
had ultrasound and then FNA on a lump in my left parotid. I was very surprised to see the lump collapse to nothing on the ultrasound then refill. The lump is very hard. I therefore wonder -
1. If it's a solid tumor how can it collapse like that
2. If it's solid how can it be a fluid filled gap?
I should have asked at the time but has anyone experienced this ?
