Having a hysterectomy is a big operation l had a similar gynae operation that became bigger than l expected. lm still at the taking it easy stage,  my doctor said that it's early days and to be  patient we all know easier said than done. Do let those around you that offer help do things for you,  like shopping or changing the beds or hoovering they won't do it your way but don't look. once the  first couple of weeks are over you can do a little more. Do give it a chance to heal, l was told not to lift anything heavy or drive your wound will tell you by pulling if it's not a good idea. I was pleased to have the op over l hope all goes well and you are recovered soon. 
Take it easy thank goodness for the internet shopping as it's saved my Christmas shopping for my kids.
