Sorry to read your news. It does come as a massive shock getting news like that but at least it had been caught early.

I was diagnosed in March after a recall from my regular screening. I had surgery first, finished chemo 3 weeks ago and have 2 weeks of radiotherapy to get through starting next week.

Hi Porcha,

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in October after routine screening detected a change in my right breast. I've had surgery to remove the tumour which was 19mm ER+ HER-. I am having 5 days of radiotherapy next week then will start hormone blocker. I'm back at work, feel fine and want you to know, terrifying as this is, you'll be ok.

Thank you girls, still very much in shock I think. I am happy its just tiny so very easily treatable. 

How was it caught if you don't mind me asking, I'm driving myself mad at the moment waiting for my breast clinic appointment, I found a lump and now have up to 8 weeks waiting time.

Hi Jess,

I found the lump myself too. The waiting does drive you a bit over the edge sometimes but I found a good mobile game I could concentrate on when my anxiety got a bit too much.

May be worth giving the clinic a phone and letting them know you are available anytime for cancellations, could get you seen quicker xx
