Hello I have been diagnosed with breast cancer and having lymnodes removed on Monday so I decided to join this group to meet people in the similar situation and learn more as I do t know much thank you
Hi Efffie I would like to know if anyone is in the same situation as me and how did they cope and manage their treatment and what I can expect as I'm feeling a little overwhelmed thank you
That's great, I found that turning my Tops inside out helped as the seem didn't rub my under arm. I also put a pillow under my arm at night that also helped.,
Sorry to read your post. I had breast cancer 7 years ago and had a lumpectomy and lymph nodes removed - it was all fine. I don't remember being particularly uncomfortable and I was in and out as a day case. I think I was able to drive again about a week later. Really hope you're okay, I do remember the initial shock of being diagnosed is like being hit by a car and also dealing with other people's reactions and feelings was really hard. I had the op yesterday have to go back tomorrow to get tube remove I'm just feeling a bit anxious and trying to stay positive for me and my children I just not sure what to expect next thanks again take care Eleanor
