  • Hi Celtlady.

Sorry to find you on here -lots of people going though similar experiences -and I found a lot of re assurance from these chat forums.
Sounds like you and your son are going though a really rough patch.
I've got the joys of Chemo to "look forward too" mine starts next week- getting 4cycles for Ca breast.

He needs to drink little and often even if he doesn't really want too. You can live a little while without drinking fluids but it's not great for long.
So I'm glad he's getting fluids in hospital. The hospital fluid infusion will help pick up his blood pressure too which will be low. But May take a while to be back to some "normal" level of hydration.

chemo treatment can be postponed for a while-so try not to panic if it's not given on a particular day.

Can you visit the hospital and go see him, speak to the nursing staff and ask what the plan is. Or maybe get to speak to your son and the doctors even together.

    Try and stay positive.
Be there for each other x

    much love
    Efffie x
