Hi everyone,

good news the mass they found on the left side is a fibroid.

I am so confused, I have a ovarian cyst which is the size of an orange on the right side. I bleed everyday in constant pain.

I had a phone call from gynae to say that they are not doing anything with it and have said that they will see me in three months. 
I am fine with this in normal circumstances however, I am concerned about this ovarian cyst. I constantly bleed and at I have had two periods in one month. 

I am unsure what to do now?

    Hello 4cats, 

    That's excellent news that the mass they have found on the left side is a fibroid but I can understand why you are feeling worried about this ovarian cyst on your right side especially if it makes you bleed every day and you are in constant pain. 

    If you are still concerned about this cyst, it might be worth seeking a second opinion. I hope you manage to speak to someone about this soon and that you hear from others on the forum who have been in a similar position before.

    Hi,

    thank you for your reply, yes I am concerned as it is the size of an orange apparently. As I have had a condrosarcoma stage one removed. But the hospital I originally went to said that it was nothing it was a benign tumour and to leave it alone. I requested a second opinion and it turned out to be cancer. I also was told no I hadn't broken my ankle from the same hospital and seven weeks later they phoned to say it was broken. Then I was told there was nothing wrong with my spine and that the pain I was suffering at the time were growing pain and nothing else it turned out I have Sherman's disease and I have now two curvetures of the spine and there's is nothing they can do.

    I am so worried so am reliving the past again and because I was fobbed off with a ropey thirty second phone call by a doctor not consultant I am now thinking that perhaps this is the same thing that is happening to me again. I have never complained about any of my past issues with the hospital  either.
