Back story here - I have melanoma. Had mole removed and then required wide local excision and groin lymph node biopsy done same time. Results came back to say melanoma already spread to my lymph nodes. Told I would be having immunotherapy.  Had PET scan 2wks ago. Braf test also been done. Got appt through to meet oncologist 4th Oct as further treatment needed. But then had appt thru today to see my plastics consultant same date, time & location. Phoned plastics as was confused and they've said my appt will be with both the oncologist and the plastics consultant together. I've never heard of that before. Is that normal or is it because they've seen something more on the scan and I probably need a 3rd op and then treatment. Anyone have any advice? Thankyou
