Hello everybody. I have been lurking on the fringes of this forum for some time. I am 71, currently fit as a flea, apart from diagnosis of endometrial serous cancer, stage 4b, out of the blue, in January this year, 2021. While everything I have so far read on this particular cancer is extremely negative, and it seems that this rare cancer has been under-researched since it was discovered around 20/30 years ago, I am extremely positive in outlook. After all, 33% survive, so why cant I be one of that percentage? I am very fortunate to be under the care of a hospital in London, and after a very successful and uneventful 6 months chemo treatment of taxol and carboplatin, I feel great. Back in a couple of weeks for CT scan and clinic, but hey ho, am pleased to be alive and kicking. Wht the future holds, who knows, but right now, I am happy as Larry.
