Hi everyone 

Recently diagnosised with ET with MPL mutation, I went into total panic mode but now I know a bit more I've calmed down.  Last 3 blood test show platelets levelling around 1400 which is extremely high but won't be prescribed Hydroxyurea until platelets reach 1500, this is due to my age (48) so just currently on 75 of aspirin. Great to read people here are doing so well but at the same time I'm extremely worried mainly because my youngest has just turned 13 years!  Fatigue and headache is annoying at the moment!

    Finding out about a cancer diagnosis can be very scary but I'm glad you're feeling a bit better about everything now you know more about it.

    Thanks for the lovely reply, have read people posts but can't see any recent ones with my condition, it's rare enough approximately 1 in a 100k per year will get this, but thanks I will read some and join in some chats about my worries etc
