Breast Cancer - iron deficiency

Just been told I've got stage 2 breast cancer & booked in for my op this Friday but now been told I am anemic and it might be postponed & I just want to get the lump out & I am gutted. Had an iron transfusion on Saturday. Has this happened to anyone else? Also, I've asked about having an MRI scan & they said I don't need one, not sure why?

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to hear about your situation - I hope you're getting on OK. If it's postponed I can imagine this will be frustrating - it's good to hear though that they are investigating the anaemia and hopefully it won't be long before things move forward for you.
