I'm sorry to hear that following your lumpectomy you've been told that there was some progression to your lymph nodes. Obviously, it's a difficult decision to have to make about what next steps you want to take regarding treatment. 

Hopefully, some of the ladies here who have been through a node clearance and/or radiotherapy will post to share their experiences with you. 

In the meantime, I'd suggest giving our team of nruses a call next week to talk things through with them. I'm sure they'll be able to offer some information, advice, and support as well as help you think about any questions that you may want to ask the Consultant about.
