Just some reassurance for anyone waiting for Lumpectomy

Hi.

im awaiting my biopsy results of my 3cm breast cancer lump. 
Dreading it but willing to go with what the consultant recommends. Chemo ,radio, mastectomy. Lumpectomy.

will see what tomorrow brings

Mine was 19mm so I had Lumpectomy 2 weeks agoDoing well atm waiting for Radio 

And then Hormone tabs

Hi,

I got my results yesterday. Stage 2 invasive ductal bread cancer.

I have massive boobs -so consultant thinks lumpectomy and lymph node removal is best option for me. 
Plus radiotherapy and at least 5years of Tamoxifen.

My lumpectomy surgery is booked in for 4weeks time. Hate the waiting game but I gotta be patient.

im getting a radioactive seed implanted before surgery as my lump is difficult to feel when I'm laying down. So easier for surgeon to find right spot. 

feeling Positive for the first time in a while

Apologies for not replying sooner having rough time on my chemo.

Glad you got your results and now have date. I had a few weeks wait when I had mine as had to have preop then covid test.  

I had the radioactive seed injection as well as couldn't feel my lump, it was uncomfortable but the discomfort didn't last long.
