Hi just had my oncotype dx test back score was 60 so quite high been told il have Chemo now anyone calm me down I can't stop crying I'm more up set abt this score than actually being told I had cancer.

Im er+ hers- grade 3 no lymph node cancer

    Hi NicolaT. 

    im totally new to all this scoring talk.

    ive just been told I have breast cancer and awaiting my biopsy results tomorrow. I'm 42. Found a 3cm lump in boob just two weeks ago.

    the scores are to work out recurrence. A high number means that treatment for your cancer in your case chemo is more beneficial than not having the chemo. 
    Try not to to stress over numbers. ( Positives/ negatives numbers )  As long as you have a plan of treatment - and you have the fight in you that's all that matters.

    i haven't got the nicest breast nurse tbh she had no empathy about her she was very matter of fact so that didn't help.

    I no it's not abt the numbers etc but I'm so confused with it all.

    I will definitely fight this all the way I no longer have cancer it was all taken away thank goodness but the journey continues just disappointed that I have to have chemo.
