I've had a little look around the forum for you to try and put you in touch with others who are or have been in a similar situation and found for example [@MountainH] 's thread on this page and more recently [@Scared_Jay] 's contributions which you can read on the same thread. It helps to talk to others who are going through a similar experience and I hope that you will hear from others who have had a similar diagnosis. [@gruntifen] - David - is another name that springs to my mind when thinking about inspirational rectal/bowel cancer stories that have spread to the liver.
