Lcis with micro invasion

Hello, been recently diagnosed with lcis and 2 areas of microinvasion. Only spoken to the care nurse so far, meeting consultant next week but know they want to do a locale xcision for removal and further analysis anybody got any experience of these?

I had my milk ducts removed in Feb for a papilloma. They found lcis so I'm on tamoxifen and annual mammograms for 5 years. I'm going back in September as my surgeon wanted to see me after 6 months but its scary stuff! It's quite a rare condition and difficult to detect as it doesn't show up on mammograms, it's found by coincidence.
As for tge surgery, it will be fine. Bit sore afterwards but it's not too bad. Hope it all goes well.xx

Thank you so much for replying. Yes I've scanned the forums and it does seem rare. I'm sure the treatment for me will be similar, find out in a few days. How do you find the Tamoxifen Loopy? Xx

To be fair, it's not too bad. A few hot flushes but nothing exciting. It's settled my pmt so my mood is actually better. The side effects sound scary but apparently most women tolerate it well.xxx
