  • Hello Sammy12345,

I am sorry to hear about your dad's diagnosis of non small cell lung cancer. I thought I would let you know that I have just replied to [@acupof123]‍ who is feeling very much like you, not knowing what to expect. This member's mum was diagnosed with non small cell lung cancer a couple of months ago and also has COPD and you can find the thread on this page. Feel free to respond if you wish - I think you would have quite a few things to share with one another given your very similar situations.

I hope your dad's cough improves and that the treatment works well for him. It must be such a stressful time for you and it's really hard not to know what to expect or how things will develop.

Hopefully you will hear from other members who find themselves in a similar place at the moment and if you wanted to give our nurses a call at any time and ask them anything, feel free to ring their free helpline 0808 800 4040 - their line is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

    Best wishes,
