I have recently had a lumpectomy and lymph nodes removed with a reconstruction. The op was fine and I was back to manual work 3 weeks later. Although I have bn left with 'cording' down the arm where the lymph nodes were taken out. Something they didn't explain to be pre op. Unfortunately, there was more cancer left when the margins were examined.

knowing this I would of opted for a mastectomy as now I have to go thru the whole process again. Debating chemo now as I really don't want it and will probably opt out of it.

I'm all new to this so I'm not sure how many reconstruction options there is. Did you have the flap or reconstruction with reduction or something else?

I had the flap . Fat was taken from my side and put in the breast. The breast looks ok tbh it just doesn't feel the same. But is early days as it's still quite numb
