Hi , applogies in advance for long post but dont know what to do , my mother had headaches in may and due to her being diabetic they sent her for ct scan,  this showed a 4.5cm tumour on brain. they then done a full MRI , bloods , target line blood test etc.  all bloodworks etc came back clear but said she had tumour in breasts and lungs also all all small, but having seen breast specialist, they said its 100% not breast , consultant then said looks like primary is lungs, but have only given a few months. he dont think biopsy or any tmt with prolong life by morethan a few months, so dont see the point in making her go through it, apart from initial headache my mother had no other symtoms. 

ive compared her lung scans to other lung cancer ones and they dont look anything alike ( i know i shouldnt) but all research ive done, i would have thought she should show some signs or be offered some tmt. 

i spoke to her consultant again today as was a lot to take in, who has said he doesnt know what cancer it is and 99.9% its lung to brain. but has now agreed for us to go on waiting list to thoracic surgeons ( 2weeks) .

i dont know what else to ask or do
