Hi, I'm just 52 yesterday on the 12 June I suddenly started with severe diarrhoea it lasted 12 days.i call my GP and got a call back from a junior doctor I had never spoken to. He ordered a lot of blood tests and I did some poo samples to.
In 2017 was very poorly and ended up with a stoma as I had a large mass across my abdomen and my bowel was about to perforate. Cut a long story short it turned out that my bowel had perforate and healed itself. I suffered with diverticular disease and they said the mass was caused by this.. I had another futher surgery to repair the damage caused and in 2019 had asucessful reversal. The surgeon told me he had cut over a foot if bowel away and had cut all the diverticulitis away and my bowel was smooth and free if diverticulitis.
So back yo June had bloods and poo samples taken was out on two different antibiotics and eventually the diarrhoea stopped after 12 day . Dr got all the results I had a positive fit test also I'm anemic and have syrum c reactive protein. He called me and was straight with me as I asked him to he he mentioned that he thought that I could have a cancerous tumor in my bowel and arranged a two week referral at once he sent out a letter about what we had discussed and gave me phone numbers to contact yourselves and other people I could talk to.
My question to you all is and I want you to be totally honest with me . With those results I have had does it sound like the most likely outcome is cancer??? Im just trying to prepare myself and be ready to fight what ever is a head for me.
Thanks for taking the time to read this xx
