There is no harm in trying hun. I'm sorry for your diagnoses. Pip isn't about a diagnosis you have its all about how your effected daily with mundane chores   can you wash yourself,  get dressed without help can you cook for yourself can you walk pain free , how your medication effects you generally everyday things your conditions prevents you from doing. Hope that helps a little. 

May I ask you some questions? I've recently had 12 days of non stop diarrhoea.. wad put on two different types of antibiotics and had blood test and poo samples.. my results came back and dr called me last Friday. He said I had a positive fit test,  and syrum c reactive protein and anemia he started talking about the possibility that I have a cancerous tumor in my bowel I've lost a stone in just over 3 weeks.  Are any of those results the same as you had? I'm trying to prepare myself x thanks in advance hun x 

Hi   my  symptoms  I  had bit blood in my poo then it stopped  so I left  it then one day I had a bad diarhea  but it was blood then went to my doctor  and  he sent me for the camera  then told me on the day I had  a tumor and took  biopsy  then I come said  it was cancer then had loads of scans then I got told I had spot on my liver ir that small  they could  tel me so they  put it down as  benign  so they keep  eye  on that  I started radiotherapy  and cemo though  tablets  then I got told I had anemia  im on iron tablets  now I have not had  Antibiotics or anything I was 17 stone now im down to 14st 11 but it's staying  at that now I have not lost anymore  im on my last week at radiotherapy  next week I had 28 of them  I had  know side effects from that at all  I no some people  can  im.realy  sorry  about your diagnosis  all I can say to you is stay positive  and keep your cin up don't let it get you down and  don't let it get to your head that's the worst thing to let that happen  someone told  me that who had cancer  because  before he told me that I was. In a right  painc   and for me when I have the operation  I have to have a stoma bag for the rest of my life  as my tumor  is at the end of my bowel If you need to chat  im always  here best wishes x

I can't give you a straight answer.  Pip isn't about your illnes  irs about how your daily life is effected. What dies your illnesses stop or prevents you from doing eg.. can you get dressed? Can you cook is your mobility effected can you walk more that 200m without having to stop or cause you pain.. this is what pip is about hun it's not about your diagnoses.. these are question you will have to answer on a pip form x 

There is no harm in applying hun. You do have issues with walking also your new diagnosis could help. You could apply for uc also esa. You could speak to cab or a benifits advisor who will know what your intitled to. You should be able to claim something sweet.
