Bile duct cancer

My mum was diagnosed with bile duct cancer 3 weeks ago after having stent placed in bile duct as jaundiced. She is receiving end of life care as she is not eligible for  any type of intervention. Dr say it looks like mets in liver. However since she been home she has improved significantly and is as well as I've ever seen her. I'm in a spin as really don't know what to expect !

    Hi Betsy 1,

    Firstly I would like to say how sorry I am to hear about your mum.

    The only experience i have is that my wife got the same thing, therefore a very limited knowledge.

    Has your mum had or been offered chemo at all? This can certainly help but it's not always appropiate in all cases. Obviously she is in the right hands and hopefully she is getting the right treatment and advice.
